Fueling Infrastructure

Propane is readily accessible in Canada, with a well-established network of pipelines, storage, distribution points and retail locations that will allow for additional infrastructure to meet increased demand. As fleet-specific needs rise the propane industry will be able to install new refueling infrastructure with ease.

While most propane is produced in Western Canada, there are over 300 distribution points across Canada and about 2,500 retail sites that dispense propane to vehicles. In addition, private refueling stations serving dedicated propane-powered fleets already exist and new stations are easily installed.
