Historically, over the last 17 years (1994 to April 2011) prices for propane transportation fuel have been over 40% less than gasoline prices. The chart below uses retail station gasoline and propane price data from the Ontario Ministry of Energy historical fuels price database in the oil and gas section to track the price differential between gasoline and propane in Southern Ontario.
